The ORBYT story

A world born
from curiosity.

Built through exploration. Held together by emotion.

Before ORBYT

Music has always been part of my life. My first memories are tied to car journeys with my family and to the CDs my father played at home. Pop, house, techno, electronic music, rap and hip-hop all lived together in my listening and fed a curiosity that would become increasingly important.

Around sixteen I asked my father for my first CDJ. I started mixing, building small live sets and experimenting with simple software. Then that phase stopped. For years I returned mainly to the other side of music: listening, searching, selecting and cataloguing.

The search begins

At the end of 2025 something changed. During a particular period of my life, I started creating small tracks again almost as a game, this time through AI-assisted production tools. What looked like a pastime opened an enormous creative space. Music became the medium through which I could finally give form to creativity that had always been there.

ORBYT is born

The name grew from my fascination with space and the concept of an orbit: something moving around a centre while following its own trajectory. That centre became my creative world — a place where ideas, images, emotions and different influences could coexist without copying anyone else's path.

Idea first

ORBYT can begin almost anywhere: a conversation, an article, a memory, an image, a word or a sound. I do not want to define ORBYT through a single genre. I love different musical languages and I am interested in making them meet when the idea asks for it. The genre is a tool. The starting point is always the idea.

The fingerprint

Almost every track needs a centre. I look for a hook, a phrase, a mantra — what I call the fingerprint of the track. But an idea only becomes mine when I can feel it while listening. It is not enough for a track to work technically. It has to provoke something.

Technology as possibility

Artificial intelligence played a fundamental role in the birth of the project because it opened creative possibilities I did not have access to before. But creating with these tools does not mean writing a prompt, pressing a button and calling the work finished. Behind every track there has to be direction: melody, instruments, structure, voice, phrasing, transitions, effects and dynamics are progressively refined. I listen, compare, modify, discard and begin again.

“At first, ORBYT was my world. Today, I want it to be a world people can explore.”

An open world

I want to keep discovering, learning, evolving, experimenting and composing music that can enter someone else's life — even if only for a few minutes. I cannot decide what another person will feel. I can only try to create something that gives them the possibility to feel.

The loop

I do not believe there is a real finish line. There is always another detail, another possibility, another thing to learn. Then reason has to intervene. At some point you let the track remain what it is: a photograph of what you were capable of creating at that exact moment. Then you move to the next one. You discover something new. You learn. And the loop begins again.
